Julie Hinchliffe writes and consults for a select number of innovative clients on projects of regional and national significance. Her main focus is native vegetation, ecological management and sustainable land use throughout regional Australia but she also dabbles in food and travel writing.

Whether providing book publishing support, writing articles or creating fact sheets for the community, Julie enjoys liaising with people from all walks of life - from landholders and primary producers to scientists, strategists and environment workers. Her writing reflects her clear, creative approach, technical training and 12 years industry experience.

Formerly based in Brisbane, Julie now works out of the seaside town of Robe in South Australia. Although the nature of her work lends itself to phone and email, she has been known to venture interstate to meet with clients at their localities. Her home office is surrounded by farmland and a nearby conservation park... so truth is, when she isn't at the computer, she's usually down the beach.
